Cooking Class - Plant-Based Italian Fare
In this hands-on cooking class, you'll learn to make several Italian dishes using all plant-based ingredients. Chef Mike will teach you tips and tricks for creating lots of flavor without animal products.
First, toss together a Caesar salad with nutritional yeast and a tempeh crumble. Then prepare a tangy and warm marinara sauce packed with veggies. For the main dish, you'll learn to make a vegetable lasagna with zucchini "noodles" and a cashew béchamel sauce. Finally, top off the meal with a decadent tiramisu that can be made vegan upon request.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
