Cooking Class - Traditional Taco-Making Workshop
The art of the taco with all its inventive, flavorful variations is yours to master.
Chef Luis teaches you to make tacos in the truest Mexican tradition with this exciting hands-on cooking class. He's crafted some gourmet variations on the standard taco formula by layering diverse ingredients for sensational flavor!
First, put together a delicious avocado and cream cheese dip before learning to make fresh handmade corn tortillas from scratch. Then, create a tinga taco filled with marinated chicken, chipotle chilis and fresh tomatoes. Next, prepare an ancient vegetarian taco stuffed with mushrooms and guacamole and then whip up a savory salsa with the smoky, roasted tastes of charred tomatoes, onions and jalapeños.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Luis and the cooking experience was just what we needed after a long day of meetings! He was kind, had tons of great experience, shared a lot of great cooking tips, shared a bit about how he approached cooking in Mexico, and put together an awesome meal for us. There was plenty of food for the evening, and the team thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We’d definitely work with him again in the future.

Luis was very knowledgeable and fun to cook with. He did the heavy lifting while teaching and involving us with smaller aspects. The food was delicious and we would definitely recommend the experience.
