If you're new to cooking Indian cuisine, however, it's essential that you learn the basics. That's where Chef Gurjyote comes in. In this hands-on class, Chef Gurjyote will teach you the foundational skills necessary to craft iconic Indian dishes, including namkeen savyan, chicken curry and naan.

Gurjyote Singh is a very skilled and kind chef. His dishes were exceptional and his stories he shared while he prepared the dishes were very inspiring. I loved each and every one of the dishes he made. He was also very accommodating on spiciness level as I love spicy food. So he didn't skip on the hotness!

Chef Gurjyote has more than 20 years of professional culinary experience in both India and Canada. Chef Gurjyote is now the owner and executive chef of a highly successful catering business, and also teaches culinary and food science classes in Surrey. He is incredibly passionate about both traditional Indian cuisine and innovative Indian cooking, and is well-versed in a variety of international cuisines.
