Preparing curry from scratch can seem intimidating, but in this hands-on cooking class, Chef Gurjyote will teach you tips and tricks on how to simplify the process. Travel the globe in your own kitchen as you prepare three different curries inspired by Thailand, India and Sri Lanka.
You will start with a red Thai curry filled with tofu and fresh vegetables, then, learn how to make chicken masala curry and a vegetarian curry made with split red lentils. For dessert, you will learn how to make a decadent chocolate mousse.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Gurjyote Singh is a very skilled and kind chef. His dishes were exceptional and his stories he shared while he prepared the dishes were very inspiring. I loved each and every one of the dishes he made. He was also very accommodating on spiciness level as I love spicy food. So he didn't skip on the hotness!

Chef Gurjyote has more than 20 years of professional culinary experience in both India and Canada. Chef Gurjyote is now the owner and executive chef of a highly successful catering business, and also teaches culinary and food science classes in Surrey. He is incredibly passionate about both traditional Indian cuisine and innovative Indian cooking, and is well-versed in a variety of international cuisines.
