Travel to Turkey and beyond with this menu of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean fusion.
Enjoy authentic Turkish fare infused with Mediterranean and Middle Eastern influences in this private chef experience based on Chef Burcu's time in Turkey. You'll enjoy four flavorful and aromatic courses prepared just for you, starting with creamy hummus and fresh sourdough pita bread for an appetizer. Then, enjoy grilled aubergine and kofta skewers seasoned with authentic spices for your main dish. On the side, you'll have rice pilaf in tomato sauce and a refreshing cucumber and mint salad. Dessert is traditional, sticky-sweet baklava.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to accompany the menu, and may request pairing recommendations from the chef upon booking.

Educated in the arts of French cuisine, chocolate confection and cake design, she has held positions as a food server, chef and executive chef in restaurants and hotels across Turkey and Canada — she has even owned a pasta-making company. Chef Burcu specializes in French and Mediterranean cuisine and is excited to share her knowledge and skills as a culinary instructor.
