Craft a traditional menu of French favorites completely from scratch.
Enjoy gourmet flavors and learn the secrets of French cuisine in this engaging cooking class. Chef Jacques will lead you through a menu of four traditional dishes beloved in France.
To begin, you'll make a French onion soup — soupe à l'oignon — elevated with creamy melted gruyère and toasted baguettes. Next, braise chicken in rich red wine, savory mushrooms, onions and bacon, and whip up silky smooth potatoes with plenty of butter for your side dish. Finish by making a decadent crème brûlée for dessert.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

He has created dishes for Michelin-level tasting menus, celebrity events and thousands of guests in restaurants around the world, and owned and operated his own restaurants in England and South Africa after attending University of Cape Town. Trained thoroughly in both food and wine, Chef Jacques loves sharing his gifts as a personal chef and teacher.
