Cooking Class - Trendy Temaki Sushi
Roll your way to temaki perfection in this lesson on preparing trendy sushi cones.
This hands-on sushi-making class with Chef Wone Hung Jack focuses on the traditions of authentic temaki — sushi that's rolled into the shape of a hand-held cone and filled with fresh, high-quality fish and vegetables.
Begin class by learning to properly handle and prepare a variety of raw fish, along with how to make traditional sushi rice. Then, create three different types of temaki, including the classic California roll, quick-cured salmon with avocado, and spicy tuna. After your sushi lesson, learn how to make crêpes with berries and ice cream.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Jack lead a very interesting and fun Tamaki cooking class. We learned various chopping/slicing techniques used to prepare the vegetables, fish and sushi rice to assemble some very delicious tamaki sushi!! Along the way, we were also able to sample sashimi, and nigiri. My favorites!! There was plenty of food for all of us to enjoy.
