Cooking Class - Sushi Making 101
Seasoned sushi expert Chef Wone Hung Jack will walk you through a beginner's guide to making sushi in this hands-on cooking class. You'll learn the basics, including how to prepare nigiri, uramaki and temari.
First, learn the knife skills for properly slicing fresh fish and then begin handcrafting your temari sushi, a ball-style nigiri topped with green onion. Next, prepare a sweet and savory avocado and mango roll, followed by the classic spicy tuna roll. To finish your sushi lesson, whip up a delightfully sweet ice cream-style treat spiked with matcha.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
