Cooking Class - Rich Caribbean Fusion
Modern Caribbean cooking is a rich and intriguing fusion that highlights the region's unique history. Influenced by explorers, conquerors and migrants from France, Spain, Africa and India, techniques and spices brought from across the sea merged with local ingredients and traditions to create a new and vibrant cuisine.
In this cooking class with Chef Wendy, you'll learn the history and techniques behind island classics such as saltfish accra and a pork curry featuring Scotch bonnet peppers. Finish your meal with a charred tropical delight: A flambéed banana rum frappe with brown sugar and cinnamon.
Guests must provide in-person proof of a negative COVID test taken within 48 hours of class.
