Cooking Class - French Bistro Fare

Begin by creating French onion soup with Gruyere cheese, then learn how to cook the perfect hanger steak with mushrooms and a red wine pan sauce. Continue sharpening your culinary skills while creating side dishes of creamy smashed potatoes with fresh rosemary, and crisp haricots verts. For the grand finale, end your French-focused meal with a golden apple cranberry galette.

Our French Bistro Fare cooking class experience with Chef Karen was wonderful and the food was merveilleux!! From start to finish, Chef Karen was inviting, genuine and made us feel so comfortable to ask any questions. The kitchen has a wonderful set up and we loved learning all the little tips & tricks to make life easier in the kitchen. We can't wait to make this meal for our family and to hopefully take another class one day soon.

What a great experience! My girlfriend and I attended Chef Karen’s cooking class and absolutely loved the entire night. Chef Karen had so many great tips and techniques to preparing food that we had never known before. In addition to being a brilliant chef, Karen is simply a lovely person to talk to and share a meal with. I would highly recommend Chef Karen to anyone looking for an intimate night of cooking and learning.
