Team Building Activity - Sushi-Themed Cooking Competition
Your crew will slice and dice to the finish in a sushi-themed team building contest.
Get your group in the mix of competitive cooking in this fun sushi-making team building experience with Chef Mike. He'll bring the contest to your worksite for a sushi-centered showdown where you'll see who makes the most creative rolls.
Your team begins by preparing savory honey-soy edamame for a starter as Chef Mike shows everyone how to make the perfect sushi rice and how to expertly slice sushi-grade fish. Then, they'll break into smaller teams to create a variety of rolls to compete for the title of Ultimate Sushi Master before enjoying a batch of matcha cookies.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

It was such a fun night cooking vegan Thai food with Chef Mike. He was incredibly welcoming and very knowledgeable - we had great conversation and lots of laughs! Meet your chef
Chef Mike has experience concocting a wide range of ethnic cuisines, including Thai, Indian and Ethiopian options. For the past five years, he has led a variety of cooking workshops, but his specialty lies in crafting ethnic plant-based dishes. Chef Mike has worked in corporate test kitchens for Walmart and Campbells, and he even worked as an on-call assistant to the chef of the Canadian Prime Minister. He is eager to impart his worldly knowledge unto aspiring chefs.
