Turn up the heat on your team building activities with this on-site dessert charcuterie board competition! Chef Mike transforms your workspace into an arena where the best board takes gold.
First, learn how to handcraft gourmet hot cocoa before learning how to temper chocolate and practicing slicing skills while carving ornamental fruit accents. Then, it's knives out for a decorative dessert board contest where smaller teams break out their most artful arrangements of cookies, brittle and other assorted goodies.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
All necessary utensils will be provided by the chef. The venue is required to have access to sinks nearby, tables set-up to prep and garbage containers. Chefs are able to arrive a minimum of 30 minutes in advance.

It was such a fun night cooking vegan Thai food with Chef Mike. He was incredibly welcoming and very knowledgeable - we had great conversation and lots of laughs! And the food was absolutely scrumptious!!! Made with fresh, quality ingredients and better and more flavourful than any restaurant. Thank you!

Mike runs the class in a fun and entertaining manner - also is a wealth of knowledge about plant-based foods and lifestyle. He was also very accommodating and worked with us on allergies, and taste preferences. Highly recommend this class and chef! We had a great time!

I booked this class for my boyfriend’s birthday and we both loved it so much! Chef Mike was incredibly warm and welcoming and he created such a lovely experience for the both of us. He is so professional and shared many great cooking tips and lots of cool stories from his impressive career. The food was to die for!! Every dish was so delicious and we can’t wait to recreate the dishes at home. My boyfriend is not normally a plant based eater, and he raved about the food. We were so impressed by the whole experience and highly recommend it to everyone who loves great food!!

Unbelievable experience with Chef Mike. The quality of the food was amazing and left us wanting more, which is saying something considering he prepared an absolute feast for us! The explanation of everything was thoroughly explained and Chef Mike had no hesitation in answering the many questions we asked of him and did so in such a simplistic manner. A lovely welcoming environment in which the conversation flowed and we felt like we were simply in the company of a friend, except the friend has just prepared us one of the best meals we have ever had! Looking forward to another experience with Chef Mike and will be recommending him to all my friends.

We had a great time with Chef Mike! On top of learning easy recipes (though it might have been because he was helping), the food was so good we were scrapping the plates clean. On top of that, the conversations were pleasant and he made sure we felt comfortable! I’d highly recommend taking a class with him!

Chef Mike was amazing! He taught us how to create plant based meals. I would recommend his class to all of my friends.
Chef Mike has experience concocting a wide range of ethnic cuisines, including Thai, Indian and Ethiopian options. For the past five years, he has led a variety of cooking workshops, but his specialty lies in crafting ethnic plant-based dishes. Chef Mike has worked in corporate test kitchens for Walmart and Campbells, and he even worked as an on-call assistant to the chef of the Canadian Prime Minister. He is eager to impart his worldly knowledge unto aspiring chefs.
Chef Mike will travel to guests within Toronto for this experience.
