Start by making crispy tempura vegetables and satisfying miso soup for the appetizers. For the main course, prepare three distinct types of sushi: ebi (shrimp nigiri), tamago (sweet egg omelet sushi) and futomaki (thick sushi rolls filled with a colorful mix of ingredients). We had such a wonderful experience with Chef Vinu! She guided my husband and me through making pasta from scratch, making the process approachable, fun, and delicious. The Mediterranean flavors she introduced were vibrant and authentic, and the Sicilian-inspired menu was absolutely memorable. Ending the evening with homemade Italian Amaretti cookies and freshly brewed espresso was the perfect touch. Chef Vinu’s passion for food and warm teaching style made the entire experience both enjoyable and enriching—we can’t recommend her enough!

This was a lovely, intimate experience! Set in Vinutha's kitchen, you get to feel very comfortable with one-on-one cooking tips. My boyfriend and I learned so many tools and recipes that we look forward to using ourselves. Food was amazing and filling. I really loved how a lot of the small things were already prepped so we could spend all of our time cooking and eating!
