Cooking Class - Classic Middle Eastern Spread
Join Chef Alicia for a culinary tour of the Middle East as you prepare a three-course meal together using the herbs, spices and fresh ingredients found in the region. You'll also learn her professional tips and tricks for preparing Middle Eastern food.
First, whet your appetite with fresh hummus and za'atar-spiced naan. Then, prepare a chicken shawarma with mejadra — a fragrant rice pilaf with lentils and fried onions. Finally, you'll create pistachio baklava crisps with honey to conclude your tour of Middle Eastern cuisine.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
