In this hands-on cooking class, Chef Avi will discuss the history of several classic Indian dishes as you create four courses using authentic ingredients, spices and techniques. Learn basic kitchen skills as well as professional techniques to produce mouthwatering Indian cuisine before enjoying your handcrafted meal.
Begin by preparing red lentil soup infused with bay leaves and cilantro, and onion dumplings from scratch made with chickpea flour, spinach and red lentils. For the entrée, Chef Avi will teach you how to make classic chicken tikka masala and mango rice pudding for dessert.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

I booked Avi as a surprise for my wife’s birthday and wow - he delivered! Not only was Avi a great conversationalist on a wide range of topics, he is incredibly knowledgeable about unique spices and ingredients that make a dish sing! He also is health conscious and provided valuable advice for places to buy high quality ingredients at bargain prices. We spent a lot of time laughing and my wife said it was was the best birthday surprise ever! #winning

Chef Avi provided an absolutely delightful culinary experience. Extremely knowledgeable on many different cooking techniques from different cultures and was very friendly and communicable. Showed us many new tips and tricks in the kitchen and never hesitated to make the best use of a learning opportunity.
