Chef Jorge, who knows coastal Mexican cuisine like the back of his hand, will guide you through regional techniques and flavors rooted in Yucatán culture. You’ll experience market-to-table cooking and discover everything delicious in between.

To start, you'll learn how to use local peppers and herbs to prepare fresh Mexican salsas and guacamole. For the entrée, choose between savory fish wrapped in aromatic banana leaf or slow-roasted Yucatán-style barbecue pork that's impossibly tender. Dessert is a sweet affair with a chocolate tamal or warm churros coated in cinnamon sugar. 

This private cooking class includes a 3-course dinner, all ingredients and utensils as well as printed or digital recipe guide.

Chef Jorge and his su chef Alicia were outstanding in every possible way. Every single meal was delicious, he was on time, communicated clearly, and was professional and friendly. He cooked for 5 adults, 2 children (7-10), and two toddlers. We shared what we were interested in and he planned and created the entire menu. One of the kids is very picky and Jorge was able to easily accommodate his needs. He even provided excellent recommendations for places to visit in the area. Not having to plan, shop, cook, and clean made the vacation much more enjoyable. Highly recommend Chef Jorge!

We had an incredible in-home dining experience with Chef Jorge. From start to finish, the service was professional, warm, and thoughtfully executed. The menu was beautifully crafted, and every dish was fresh, flavorful, and plated with restaurant-quality presentation. Chef Jorge arrived fully prepared, kept the kitchen spotless, and made the entire evening feel effortless. Our guests were truly impressed, and we were able to relax and enjoy a memorable meal in the comfort of our home.
