Private Chef - Vegan Caribbean Favorites
Explore the vibrant flavors of Trinidad & Tobago with this plant-based menu by Chef Charlene.
In this private chef experience, Chef Charlene transports you to the islands of the Caribbean with vegan interpretations of traditional favorites. Begin with crispy vegan crab cakes topped with bright mango chutney. For the main course, the chef will prepare a hearty mushroom “hoaxtail” served with Trinidad pelau and hops bread. Enjoy a yuca cake with vegan soursop ice cream for dessert.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to accompany the menu, and may request pairing recommendations from the chef upon booking.

This class was excellent. Charlene was so kind and helpful, she answered all of our questions and gave us tips for other vegan dishes outside of these. The meal was very good and cooking was very enjoyable!

She recently published a cookbook with beautiful, fresh recipes to magnify flavor in vegan meals. Chef Charlene is passionate about creating a memorable experience for her guests, one gourmet plate at a time.
