This hands-on cooking class immerses guests in the traditions of Chinese cuisine with a comforting menu of flavorful and nourishing dishes. Chef Renee will guide you as you prepare the menu.

Start with a plant-based oyster-style sauce that enhances food with its rich umami flavor. You’ll braise chicken with chestnuts and lotus root paired with garlicky bok choy and perfectly steamed rice. You’ll even learn some Chinese words and phrases throughout the class. Book your class today!

Chef Renee was awesome! My wife enjoyed the meal preparation and all the nutritional information she gave to us. The meal was excellent and gave us good ideas for meals we could prepare at home. We will definitely be watching for more cooking classes to take with Chef Renee.

Fantastic hands-on cooking class for a chinese meal! After searching online for awhile, we finally found this class -- healthy cooking and hands-on! It was really helpful to learn about healthy ingredients that we weren't familiar with using, such as black garlic, kelp, lotus root, etc. I'm planning on exploring the chinese grocery stores for ingredients I now am aware of! I'd say I'm a basic cook - nothing too fancy. I have now learned some new techniques, new ingredients and have some new inspiration! Renee was wonderful - friendly, informative, clear and patient! And Enrique was helpful too. The whole experience was timed very well - we didn't feel rushed, had lots of time for questions and fun chit-chat, and then we got to sit down and enjoy what we made too. We can't wait for Renee's new Skript Kitchen to open! I'm sure it will be fantastic and we look forward to experiencing more classes in the new location. Thanks Renee and Enrique!
