Cooking Class - Authentic Tempura and Sushi

Explore the role of fried ingredients in sushi and Asian cuisines with Chef Paul.

In this hands-on sushi-making class, Chef Paul will guide you as you prepare a variety of dishes featuring crunchy, fried elements. Learn how to balance textures from light and crisp to rich and soft.

Begin by deep frying tofu for an agedashi tofu starter with tempura sauce. Next, practice your sushi techniques while preparing a spicy salmon roll and a crunchy roll featuring fried shrimp and crispy tempura bits. Later, prepare a Korean street food favorite of rice cakes and sausages on a stick with spicy hot sauce and then finish the meal with a sweet mango roll.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Wonderful experience! Very fun evening and left with a lot of good tips on how to make the best rolls. We had our event at his home, and it was a comfortable, relaxing environment. Am definitely considering having Paul do a private event for my workplace! Great job Paul!

Food was amazing! Chef Paul was very skilled and friendly. Such a wonderful teacher! He gave many helpful tips on how to make rolls, preparation etc. Will be back again for more lessons.
