Cooking Class - Authentic Tempura and Sushi

Explore the role of fried ingredients in sushi and Asian cuisines with Chef Paul.

In this hands-on sushi-making class, Chef Paul will guide you as you prepare a variety of dishes featuring crunchy, fried elements. Learn how to balance textures from light and crisp to rich and soft.

Begin by deep frying tofu for an agedashi tofu starter with tempura sauce. Next, practice your sushi techniques while preparing a spicy salmon roll and a crunchy roll featuring fried shrimp and crispy tempura bits. Later, prepare a Korean street food favorite of rice cakes and sausages on a stick with spicy hot sauce and then finish the meal with a sweet mango roll.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

What a very memorable night for my wife and I. We were gifted by our daughter for our anniversary. Chef Paul was amazing. He made us at ease when we first came to his house. His pleasant demeanor and courteousness won us over. He was patient and very meticulous in his presentation. He caringly showed us cooking tips and gave us important trivia information. The food was excellent and he was very supportive when we tried out his techniques.. We had a very nice evening and he comes highly recommended.

I gave this expetience to my husband as wedding anniversary and was the best idea. The whole experience wascgreat! Paul is an amazing chef! Lovely person and the best teacher. We did enjoy the lesson from beghining to end. Highly recommended!!
