We prepared an absolutely delicious meal of ricotta gnocchi, artichokes, and tiramisu. Chef Barbara warmly guided us through each step with encouragement. This intimate class allowed us the opportunity to learn more about life in Venice as well as food preparation. We will take home recipes we are sure to follow and lasting memories. We cannot thank Barbara enough- she is a true gem!

Barbara was amazing! We had so much fun taking her class. Along the way we picked up local ingredients that we then used. The ravioli's we made were delicious, the addition of lemon zest was a game changer. We're inspired to try making them again at home! Alongside cooking tips we also got to hear about how Venice has changed over the years and local recommendations (including the best spot for gelato!). As we did this early in our trip we found her recommendations and advice very helpful in planning some of our later activities. Thanks so much Barbara! We highly recommend this experience. And please give your cat a little extra snack from us, we loved meeting him!

Best ever: Squid ink risotto! Best ever: Tiramisu! Chef Barbara walked us through the market and through the process of preparing these two classics paired with great conversation and wine! Highly recommend booking this experience. We’re looking forward to making the above for our family and friends!

Our cooking class with Barbara was the highlight of our time in Venice! It was wonderful! She took us to the market for ingredients, then we stopped for a quick drink before she welcomed us into her home. Her home is lovely! It's a very warm, cozy and inviting space. Barbara gave us a choice in what we cooked. She showed us how to make tortellini by hand. We also made ricotta gnocchi and tiramisu. Then after we prepped all the food, she had set a lovely table and proceeded to serve us a beautiful meal. I would definitely take another class with Barbara again! Highly recommend.

Joining the Tiramisu and Pasta cooking class in Venice was a delightful experience. Thanks to Barbara, we learned the secrets of fresh home-made pasta and tiramisu! We explored the essence of Italian cuisine in a beautiful, traditional Venetian home. Barbara, our gracious host, made the experience even more memorable with her warmth and expertise. It felt like visiting a friend’s house!

We are newly weds who came to Italy on our honeymoon & booked a last minute class the last night of our trip … what an ending !!! Not only did Barbara teach with such patience & expertise, she was also just a one of a kind human being ! From the very beginning she made each moment so special and this will for sure be a memory that my husband and I will carry through out our lives. We left having learnt how to make some yummy pasta but we also left with a new friend, Barbara ! We cannot thank you enough for EVERYTHING!!!

If you want an authentic Venetian food experience, book this class! My family of 3 took the local Venetian Cooking Class with fresh fish recipes with Chef Barbara. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Knowing that many people can be unsure of unfamiliar fish dishes, Chef Barbara tailored the experiences to our family's needs and preferences. She was prepared and gave us a great hands-on experience. I asked lots of questions and took tons of notes. She gladly answered every one.

Excellent! By far one of our favorite experiences ever! Chef Barbara was magnificent: warm, kind, and extremely accommodating. The weather was awful, and she met us in a nearby square in order to help. The intimate size of the group (only four of us) made for a wonderful time. We highly recommend it.
