This cooking class in Sicily brings you into an authentic Catanese kitchen where tradition meets hands-on mastery. As you plan your trip to Italy, discover why Catania's pasta heritage is legendary across the Mediterranean – from handmade tagliatelle to the iconic Pasta alla Norma.

Chef Giuseppe, a local culinary expert steeped in Sicilian tradition, will guide you through techniques passed down through generations of Catanese nonnas. You'll knead eggless tagliatelle using only durum wheat semolina, water and salt, rolled paper-thin with a traditional wooden pin. Prepare a tender zucchini and mint frittata, then craft the masterpiece: Pasta alla Norma with golden fried eggplant, fresh tomato-basil sauce and sharp ricotta salata. Finish by piping creamy sheep's-milk ricotta into crisp cannoli shells, topped with Bronte pistachios.
