Visitors hoping to explore Lombardy through its cuisine will find this cooking class in Milan a memorable way to connect with the city’s culinary heritage. Hosted in the refined home of a local Italian chef, the experience introduces you to recipes that have shaped Milanese cooking for generations.

You’ll begin with a welcome glass of Prosecco and traditional nibbles before learning how to prepare risotto alla Milanese, the city’s signature saffron-infused dish known for its creamy texture and rich aroma. Next, your host guides you through ossobuco, slowly braised veal shanks finished with bright gremolata. To complete your lesson, you’ll craft a classic tiramisù using mascarpone, eggs and cocoa.

Throughout the class, Chef Chiara shares stories of Milan, local ingredients and time-honored techniques. If cooking with a Milanese home chef is on your travel itinerary, reserve your class today.
