From casual dining to working in one of the best restaurants in the world - Norma, Chef Alex has worked in a wide range of restaurants. Transitioning from chef to entrepreneur, he is now the owner and a host of a cooking school in Madrid.

The Spanish Tapas class by chef Nico was excellent, fun and easy to follow. The tapas were delicious too. The kitchen area was spotless, well-equipped and comfortable. After the tapas, we went to a beautiful room where we finished the night with dinner and wine pairings, prepared by Benji, one of the chefs. Last, but not least, our glasses were filled with delicious cava throughout the entire night.

This was an AMAZING experience, my friend and I signed up for the tapas class first and we loved it so much we went back the next day for the paella class. To begin, the place itself is clean, amazing vibe and energy from staff and beautiful in its construction. The different cava pairings with each meal you cooked was phenomenal. They made it easy and fun for us to follow along and make the absolute best Spanish cuisine I have tried. The owner is full of life, and very passionate about his business that he created from the ground up. It was a beautiful experience to share with them. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

If you’re in Madrid, you must not miss this cooking class & dining experience. A 5 star food, wine, experience! We did the paella cooking class with 4 types of paella and an abundance of other local food and wine. All delicious, in an absolutely amazing downtown setting. Hosted by a team of experienced chefs who know what fun and good food means to travelers. You don’t need to know how to cook but only to enjoy a wonderful experience with great local foods. Thank you team! You must come hungry…

Excellent! I attended the tapas class with my husband and two adult kids. Music, wine, ingredients are prepped ahead of time so all we had to focus on was the cooking techniques and we're encouraged to chat with the other attendees and focus on making connections through this experience with others. Clean, well organized and the downstairs dining area is absolutely gorgeous and comfortable. Do not think twice about booking for a class here - if you have a chance, you must!

Do you like amazing meals, and bottomless wine? If so, this is the class for you. Our family had a blast, and they we so good about including our 7 and 9 year old daughters. Each two person team cooked a different paella and after we finished cooking, we got to try each one in their downstairs dining room. They also served us appetizers and desserts. It was by far the best paella that we had in Spain. Such a great experience! Thanks.

I took a group of family and friends to the class and we had such an amazing time. The owner was so personable and made us feel special. The wine was flowing, the cooking was very fun and each paella that was made was delicious! It was a highlight of our trip.

The whole experience exceeded our expectations! I have done many cooking classes but this was way more than that! It was truly a cultural experience. From the welcome drinks to the elaborate family style meal at the end, each moment was carefully thought out to maximize the guest experience. Chef Alex was fantastic at getting to know everyone and explaining each step of the process in a fun and understandable way. The dance music played and the bottomless drinks gave it a true cooking “club” feel! Benny was amazing as well his patience with us and the energy he brought greatly contributed to making our time there special! After 3 hours, we still didn’t want to leave. The food was amazing and we feel capable of attempting these recipes at home. Thank you again for a memorable time!

Amazing night out with Chef Alex. He was the perfect and gracious host as he showed us the little gems and places to eat and drink in our neighborhood. Definitely we would not have come upon these places in our own. We enjoyed his knowledge of the food from the area and the familiarity and affection he received from the various establishments obvious. The food itself was spectacular - come hungry and ready to drink. Chef went above and beyond to make sure we were all taken care of. Thanks, Alex!
