Chef Miguel is excellent. Friendly and knowledgeable, he gave me useful ‘insider information’ on baking that not many professionals know about. His English is very good, and he did a great job instructing me. I will definitely come back for more classes and will bring my wife next time.

Oh where to start! Talk about the experience of a lifetime this has been an unbelievable experience spending time in Portugal. Halfway through our trip wanted to take the opportunity to celebrate friends engagement while we are here. Instead of just doing dinner, I decided to treat us to a Portuguese cooking class where Miguel taught us how to cook traditional dishes, eat what we cooked and had a ton of wine along the way. Family that cooks together stays together. I highly recommend this experience.

We had a great time with a really knowledgeable, friendly relaxed chef and atmosphere. He walked us through a little history to tie in the food, which tasted wonderful. Oh and the wine was delicious too. It was a small group, which allowed everyone to get involved and learn. We would definitely recommend the class and experience. Thank you Miguel

I had the absolute pleasure of joining this Portuguese cooking class on June 8, 2025, and it was easily one of the highlights of my time in Lisbon!
Although I sadly forgot the name of our wonderful chef, she was truly fantastic—warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly passionate about sharing her country’s culinary traditions. Her guidance made the experience approachable for everyone, regardless of skill level, and I came away with new techniques and recipes I can’t wait to try at home.
The class was intimate and lively, with a small group of fellow travelers from around the world. We laughed, chopped, cooked, and sipped wine as we prepared a delicious 3-course Portuguese meal. The menu showcased the best of local flavors, and the meal we shared at the end—paired with excellent Portuguese wine—was both satisfying and unforgettable.
The atmosphere was relaxed and joyful, and I loved the way the experience brought people together over food and culture. As a bonus, vegetarians and other dietary needs were thoughtfully accommodated, which I really appreciated.
Whether you're a seasoned home cook or just curious about Portuguese cuisine, this is an experience you shouldn’t miss. Thank you again to our lovely chef and team for a beautiful, authentic evening in Lisbon!
