In this hands-on team building experience, Chef Gene creates an opportunity for you and your team to gather in the kitchen and enjoy the abundance of seasonal ingredients of the Pacific Northwest among good company.
Chef Gene's menu features an array of regional seafood and produce you will get to work with as you and your team learn how to match seasonal Northwest flavors and build them up using cooking techniques unique to the region. After you prepare the dishes together, you'll conclude the experience with a stunning communal meal.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Gene was accommodating and went out of his way to make the team building experience fun and enjoyable. Everyone enjoyed making pasta and learning new skills in the kitchen. The food was GREAT!

Chef Gene did a fantastic job making us all feel comfortable, explaining the process and adapting the event to meet our expectations. He is very knowledgeable and made sure we were all engaged in the preparation of the meal. The ingredients were of high quality and the menu featured seasonal ingredients per our request. We all went away with many great tips on how to improve our cooking skills.

What a truly memorable evening learning so much from an expert teacher and consummate chef who is the former head of the Portland Culinary Institute. I highly recommend that everyone who would like raise their cooking skills to the next level take a class with him.

With over 20 years of experience in the culinary and hospitality industry, Chef Gene is the entertaining and knowledgeable host of a variety of engaging cooking classes that bring out the best of the Pacific Northwest. Chef Gene holds degrees in culinary arts, hospitality, and educational leadership, and has had the privilege of opening two culinary education facilities in his career. These accomplishments showcase his passion for teaching as well as his outstanding culinary skills.
