It was a pleasurable way to spend an evening and a cozy atmosphere. We experienced some delicious meals from across regions in South America and learn some cultural background. Chef Gustavo also demonstrated the various meals such that we can try them at home.

My boyfriend and I had THE most incredible time with chef Gustavo! Such a thoughtful, fun and delicious experience. Chef Gustavo took the time to explain each dish and we learned so much (did I mention the food was incredible?). We will definitely be back for more. Highly recommended!

Latin American cuisine is what Chef Gustavo is all about. As the owner and executive chef of Rumba Café in Adams Morgan for 20 years, he understands this cuisine more than anything else. He draws his inspiration from his own travels through Latin America, the Caribbean, France, Spain and more. He studied at L’ Academie de Cuisine and is knowledgeable in French cuisine as well. He is available to teach classes in both English and Spanish.
