Roman residents Chef Larry & Ale invite you to explore the foundation of Italian cuisine - fresh and local ingredients. Wander the stalls of a neighborhood market, sampling seasonal products while learning about regional food systems. You'll even meet the chef's favorite vendors.

After browsing the market, join the chef for a lesson in traditional pasta-making. You'll practice time-honored techniques for crafting fettuccine by hand to pair with rustic ragù. After the chef shares tips for preparing classic tiramisù, gather around the table to enjoy dessert with a robust Italian coffee.

This experience made our trip to Italy that extra special. We shared many laughs and learned some great things about Italian food. Chef Larry and Ale are wonderful hosts and very patient teachers. We had a lot of fun and I highly recommend it!

We did the cooking class and social dinner with Alessandra and Larry and it was truly the most magical evening! Ale has something truly special to offer tourists, she showed us what the Italian culture is all about! Our group came as strangers and left as close friends after a night of cooking, conversation, laughter, singing, and dancing! Couldn't recommend this experience more!

My wife and I spent a week in Rome and this was the best part of the trip. We took the Roman Market Food Tour with Cooking Class and it was absolutely Incredible. Alessandra walked with us around the wonderful neighborhood of Trionfale market showing us and shopping many great local shops. Then we headed back to her and her partner Larry's home where we cooked (ravioli with ricotta and tiramisu) with the fresh ingredients we bought during our walk. Thank you Larry and Ale for this wonderful experience and memory for life.

Loved it !! A beautiful family experience. Larry is a funny guy, professional and entertaining, was the best part of our 3 days in Rome. First time we did it and Larry guided step by step with passion, so tasty ! Must do in Rome !

We had an amazing cooking class and experience with Larry & Alessandra where we learnt some great tips so hopefully we can recreate the amazing food when we get back home to Australia. We arrived to very warm welcome into their home where we enjoyed wine whilst we prepared the pasta. After cooking the four of us plus Larry & Alessandra sat down and enjoyed the meal with some more wine. I highly recommend this experience, Larry has great food knowledge (as you would imagine from a chef) and Alessandra was an fantastic host. Thanks to both of you for welcoming us into your home and sharing your knowledge.

This was the best experience of our whole trip of Italy. Larry and Ale are so friendly and accommodating. The cooking side of things was great and we had so much fun making pasta under the guidance of chef Larry. Would 100% recommend to do this experience and enjoy being with a beautiful local family for the evening. 10/10
