Enjoy the communal experience of preparing paella in this hands-on culinary team building experience.

Paella is not only characterized by it's saffron-scented rice and distinct pan, but also by the festivities that surround it. Paella brings people together, and in this team building class, Chef Andy invites your team to come together to experience an authentic paella party.

As a team, you will work together as you learn how to make all of the elements of Spanish paella. Not only will your team hone the skills and techniques necessary to bring paella to life, but also those to craft a decadent flan for dessert.

Guests are welcome to purchase wine and beer from the venue.

BEST TEAM BUILDING EVENT EVER! ...and Chef Andy was the reason it exceeded expectations. If you are looking for a place to get together, have a cocktail/soda, talk and bond as a team, learn some laid back cooking technique, and have an event that the whole group is talking about afterwards, THIS SHOUD BE YOUR CHOICE! We had a group of 13 for a corporate team building event, at the Wicker Park Inn venue (which is also ADORABLE!), a quick 15 min Uber from downtown. Our team did the Spanish Paella menu, but honestly I am not sure the menu choice matters much, as the experience of being there and entertainment/conversation/personality Chef Andy provides makes the whole event. Easy platform for communication, Chef Andy is incredibly responsive, even tailored our menu to dietary needs. 110% recommended.

Andy was amazing. So personable and kind. His team was also wonderful to work with, Food was delicious and the atmosphere fun and inviting, Our group had a fabulous experience.

5 hours agoChef Andy was fantastic! My wife and I have done a few other cooking classes in more commercial settings, but this was much more enjoyable. We had a small class of about 5 people, so all of us were getting plenty of personal attention and tips, and I've already seen my knife handling skills increase considerably in the two days since we took the class. It's fun, a great environment, he played great music, and we actually learned a ton. We also ended up having a great meal! Everyone got along super well, so we ate our creations together and really bonded as a group. Chef Andy's recipes were amazing, and everyone was raving about their own dishes. The portions were huge, so I actually had enough left over to make a tasty breakfast out of it as well. We did a vegan cooking class that night. I'm not one, but my wife is vegetarian. He taught us a ton about nutrition and the benefits of plant based diets, but was in no way preachy or judgemental to those of us who weren't practicing vegans/vegetarians. He created a welcoming, warm, and fun environment for us all to learn and play in. I can't thank him and his assitant enough for their hospitality. And I haven't even mentioned how accomodating he was, as we had to reschedule TWICE after we had a whole lot of life hit us and make it so we couldn't keep our first appointments. He was just like, "No big, that happens. Here's my next few availabilities." If we take more Cozymeal classes in the future, I'm checking out Chef Andy's page first. He seems to have a great head on his shoulders, and I have a feeling he'll be a big shot chef in the not so distant future. You should definitely sign up for a class with him before he gets too big. Thanks again to you both, and good luck in future endeavors!
