What You’ll Do

Enroll your teen in a cooking series centered on pastry confidence-building.

Challenge your teen in this interactive cooking series in Albany built for aspiring bakers and pastry lovers. With step-by-step guidance from Chef Rachel or a chef instructor, students will master yeast doughs, enriched breads and laminated pastries while creating galettes, soda bread, ciabatta, cinnamon roll focaccia and croissants with creative fillings. Along the way, they’ll practice timing, shaping and temperature control. This cooking series in Albany offers a structured, hands-on environment where teens can level up their skills and explore professional pastry methods.

Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

My husband and I had an enjoyable time. The food turned out excellent. Chef Joy and the others in the class were delightful to be around. There was a lot of standing. I wish we had been able to at least sit down to eat the delicious food. Overall great experience.
