Hone your knife skills while preparing a flavorful and well-balanced four-course Italian meal.
In this skill-focused, hands-on cooking class, you’ll explore knife fundamentals through iconic Tuscan dishes. Guided by a world-class chef, you’ll precisely dice vegetables for classic minestrone, prepare fresh tomatoes and crusty bread for panzanella and master carving bistecca alla Fiorentina (steak Florentine). Then, bake chocolate biscotti with chopped pecans and whip up a luscious zabaglione. This experience sharpens your skills while filling your table with rustic Italian comfort food.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Meet your chef
Chef Michael arrived in the culinary world as an all-around creative looking for his next challenge. His career in environmental and graphic design included work with Toyota and Amazon before his fascination with cuisine led him to Le Cordon Bleu for a blue ribbon program of study. He honed his talents further as assistant pastry chef at Le Marais. Now, Chef Michael applies his creativity to teaching others the art of cuisine.
