Learn to make authentic American cuisine in a hands-on cooking course.

Discover the vibrant flavors of the American Southwest in a one-of-a-kind cooking class. Learn to make restaurant-quality cuisine from a five-star professional chef in an exciting learning environment. Prepare green chile stew with chipotle cream, grilled shrimp with cilantro-chile butter and fluffy jalapeño cheddar cornbread. End class with churro fritter drizzled with Mexican chocolate sauce for dessert.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Meet your chef


Chef Michael arrived in the culinary world as an all-around creative looking for his next challenge. His career in environmental and graphic design included work with Toyota and Amazon before his fascination with cuisine led him to Le Cordon Bleu for a blue ribbon program of study. He honed his talents further as assistant pastry chef at Le Marais. Now, Chef Michael applies his creativity to teaching others the art of cuisine.
