Cooking Class - Spanish Culinary Delights - Dallas

I had such an amazing experience in cooking class! Even though I was the only student that day, Brealynn made it feel like a full class. She has such a wonderful energy and made me feel completely at ease, helping calm my nerves and build my confidence in the kitchen. We made chicken fried steak, broccolini, and mac & cheese — and everything turned out so delicious! The two hours flew by because it was such a fun, engaging, and encouraging experience. What really stood out was how generous Brealynn was with her time and knowledge. She shared extra tips, offered her contact information in case I have questions when cooking on my own, and made sure I left feeling successful. Even her colleagues were also so kind and welcoming. Overall, this class exceeded my expectations in every way. I left inspired and excited to cook again — I’ll absolutely be back for another class soon!

The class was fun. We got to made a try some things we would probably not have tried otherwise. I was a little disappointed that our class was so packed. Four people were crowded into a two person prep space and we all shared the duties which cut our experience in half. Our chef was great though! I appreciate how much extra he brought from his background into class. It’s evident that he’s passionate about sharing food with people.

The class was fun and Tammie did a great job teaching and working with everyone.

Chef Craig was very engaged with all of us. There were 14 in total in the group yet he successfully navigated around the room and answered everyone’s questions. We prepared a delicious spinach & beet salad making the dressing from scratch. We made a caramel sauce to pour over the cooked pears which were topped with an englaze sauce. Fingerling potatoes and a delicious steak that we were taught to season and cook to perfection! We highly recommend this experience! The cooking stations are paired into groups of 4 so if you want to experience this along with friends and family, group yourselves into groups of 4. You won’t regret it! We had Chef Craig and he was great! We learned how to make pasta! Best class!

We baked macaroon cookies. The chef was very good at explaining each step. The class was fun, but too long. It took 3 hours to bake 8 cookies we came home with. The class was definitely overpriced.

I took the class on making chicken 3 ways. The experience was fantastic! The chef concentrated on instruction and oversite while a "helper" bustled around ensuring participants had what they needed and clearing away plates, bowls and trays to keep the work area clutter-free. We actually made three different recipes with one chicken and even learned how to cut up a whole chicken! Breasts were fileted to make breaded cutlets (meal/recipe #1) that we pan-fried. The backbone & ribs of chicken (and meat left as pieces were cut away) were used to make broth and provide meat for the chicken noodle soup (recipe/meal #2). And all remaining pieces were coated with a marinade we made, and oven roasted over a layer of bite-size carrots & potatoes with artichoke hearts and green olives mixed in (meal/recipe #3). Excuse the photo, we were munching away on the other dishes before we thought to take a picture! Chef was calm, helpful and reassuring the entire time. I've already signed up for two other classes!

Chef Craig was our instructor, and he did a great job at guiding us. Learned a lot and enjoyed the process and of course the meal. I’ll definitely do it again!

All 4 parts of the meal were delicious and indulgent. The best cooking class among many we have attended. Chef Kate was attentive and made sure that the meal turned out.

Fun class!

It was a good experience. Enjoyed the food prep and learned a few techniques I’ll use at home. The process was a bit different than I expected but having not gone before that’s ok. It was just different from other classes I’ve taken.

Alex was awesome! She explained everything well and it was a fun experience. We look forward to coming back soon.

Chef Kate was wonderful! She made this a great event for our mother and daughter date!

What an informative and enjoyable European Breads Class! Pia and Stephanie were fantastic, and our three (!) breads all turned out beautifully during our allotted three hour class. It was a terrific way to celebrate my birthday with my dear friend.

What an amazing class! The Chef was super prepared and made our experience seamless. I would highly recommend to anyone considering taking this class. It is also awesome we were able to bring a bottle of wine just like we would when cooking at home.

Really fun and busy class making pad Thai, deep fried lemongrass corn fritters, shrimp curry, and enjoying coconut rice afterwards, in a group of 12. It was nice to review knife skills as well. Great date or special occasion activity

Overall very informative. Adult only class would be a nice option.. Chef had amazing experience, very informative and knowledgeable. Should have a 5 min late policy. Late guests distracting. Would have liked a little quicker pace. Overall Very great seat up. Definitely an experience.

Overall, the class was really fun! In a way I wish it was a tiny bit more challenging. It felt like we did a few knife cuts, then took a break and then cooked a bit before eating. All in all, I wish it had been a bit more difficult or ""fast"" pace wise. The food we made was really good, except for the pad thai which was disappointing. Also would be super nice to make a dessert!

The class was easy to follow, and I feel the recipes will be easy to replicate at home. This class should be 3 hrs long, not 2. The dough didn't have enough time to rise and didn't have enough time to bake. My focaccia bread wound up burning because the instructor was moving on with the class and the bread didn't get out of the oven fast enough.

As usual, this was a great experience. I would recommend their cooking classes to learn, eat great food, and have a great experience.

Honestly, this class was a mess from start to finish. The setup was fine, as far as everything being portioned out for us, but the food was not good. The person who lead the class appeared to have found out about the gig shortly before we began. She tried her best, but our group ended up having to wing it on some things. It's like the recipes were completely untested. I don't recommend this course for the amount that it costs and I should have just made dinner myself like I normally do. We paid to play around with food and we were still hungry after we left.

Menu- birria tacos, corn & pablano tamales, chocolate cake, mocktail. Chef Craig was awesome, 5 stars for him and his crew!!! I had so much fun and plan to come back for sushi class!! My favorite-the chocolate cake!! It was really good, and shockingly I couldn’t taste the chili seasoning in it at all!! I got to stir the butter into the chocolate chips as it melted- someone else added other stuff. It turned into a chocolate soufflé!! The reason for only 3 stars is that my expectations were not met in the “learning how to cook” this meal. The way there are teams assigned and each menu item is broken down into tasks that are assigned to some individuals while others are working on other tasks meant we all missed quite a bit of what was happening. There was a secret sauce one person was making while I was working on the tamale batter with a mixer. No one knew what I was doing really, and while I was pouring liquids and powders into the tamale batter bowl- I don’t know what anyone else was doing. In some ways, having everything pre-measured is helpful. But, I really didn’t know what I was adding and mixing or how much or why the whole time. In fact, the bowl disappeared then was returned with something added just before we divided it between the teams to start on the tortillas. Like, more flour or something, maybe? I think I messed up the batch and it went to the back
