Cooking Class - 5-Day Foodie Fun Kids: Bakery Favorites
Calling all budding pastry chefs!
Get ready, young pastry chefs and bakers and join our cooking series focusing on recreating classic baked goods. In just five days, kids will explore the joy of baking. From mixing batters and kneading dough to decorating cakes, they will learn all the essential baking techniques. Plus, they will get to grips with food prep, safety and generally have a blast baking in the kitchen. These are the ideal summer cooking classes for all the aspiring young pastry chefs out there!
Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.

Chef Gus launched his culinary journey in the Bay Area, with roots in Chicago and Los Angeles, where he mastered Latin cuisine. Over the years, he transitioned into diverse culinary styles, with a focus on French techniques. Currently residing in Los Angeles, Chef Gus is dedicated to sharing his culinary wisdom with students, drawn from his extensive hands-on experience in the culinary world.
