Cooking Class - 5-Day Foodie Fun Kids: Bakeshop - Carmel

What You’ll Do

A week of baking fun and new skills crafting baked goods from around the globe.

Inspire your kids to think creatively and work confidently with culinary skills gleaned in these summer cooking classes. Working under an expert chef, kids 7-11 will discover the whimsical world of baking from sugary creations to food safety. They will flip crêpes, mix and knead dough and decorate their freshly baked cakes with all sorts of homemade icing and sprinkles, finding their personal style and mastering impressive techniques. Upon completing the course, they will take home a certificate and printed menu of everything they created.

Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.
