This class was so great! We don’t have enough good things to say. Chef Jamie welcomed us into her home that was clean, intimate, beautifully decorated and a perfect space for my mother and I to take this cooking class. We had the privilege of it being a private class. Chef Jamie explained each step thoroughly before beginning and continued to do so as we went through each step. At times, when I was hard on myself with not knowing what to do, she consistently reassured me that learning is part of the process and it’s okay to make mistakes. Everything we made was so delicious and cooked/prepared to perfection. Was truly a wonderful experience. Highly recommend Chef Jamie!

I booked chef jamie for my wife and I as a special Valentine’s day date. My wife loves to cook and i absolutely love that i never have to, so i wasnt sure what to expect, but the entire night blew us both away. Immediately we felt comfortable, excited , and hanging on every word Chef jamie said. She was well versed and able to explain each step, no matter the skill level coming in to the class. But even more than that, she made it fun, relatable and engaging. We made a crostini to start that im still dreaming about, perfect pillowy gnocchi and tiramisu with left overs for the whole week! Chef Jamie was spunky , personable, educational, and made cooking fun, plain and simple. I would highly recommend Chef Jamie to any one who wants a night out with great company, great atmosphere, and even better food ( at the end she even lets you lick the spoon !)

Chef Jamie was awesome!! We had so much fun! The cooking was fun and easy, and the food was delicious. Especially the guacamole and the empanadas! We generated plenty of leftovers, so we got a couple meals and a snack out of it :) highly recommend!

We cooked a vegan and GF Mediterranean meal, with falafel and tzatziki, roasted vegetables with quinoa and Lemon Olive Oil cake. It was SUCH a great and fun class. I personally learned better knife skills, lots of cooking tips and tricks to make cooking easier and faster, and had a wonderful meal that I look forward to and feel confident of creating on my own. My daughter and I attended the class together and there was a young couple in the class too and we all really enjoyed ourselves. Chef Jamie's teaching space/home was lovely - perfect for our class and she made the entire experience interesting, resourceful, TONS of fun and inspiring! I look forward to taking another class! My only regret was I forgot to take pictures!!

My sister, cousins, and I had such a great time at this cooking experience. Chef Jamie was not only super chill and funny but also made everything feel approachable and fun. The food turned out incredible, especially the pisto with bread and the sweet potato and bean filling for the empanadas, honestly, I’d eat that filling on its own. We came in thinking we might leave a little hungry, but we were so full by the end basically fighting to keep eating. The kitchen space was perfect for a group, with plenty of room for everyone to get hands-on. We all were able to chop, stir, pour, season, and Chef was super open to all our questions. We learned a lot about reducing food waste, proper knife techniques, and storing produce, plus got to hear about Chef’s path to becoming a private chef. Also, random but worth mentioning, the whole place had a super peaceful vibe (shoes off at the door), and the bathroom? Gorgeous. Skylight and all. Highly recommend this experience!

From the moment we walked in, Chef Jamie made us feel completely at ease—her warm presence was so comforting, especially since we’re a little on the shy and introverted side. She created such a welcoming atmosphere that the two hours flew by, and we left not only having made delicious vegetarian Middle Eastern food but also feeling so much more confident in the kitchen. Jamie is incredibly knowledgeable, and her goal is truly to empower her students—she gave us invaluable advice, from how to properly hold a knife to small tricks that make cooking smarter and less intimidating. I’m already seeing the aftereffects; today, as I made sheet pan vegetables, I found myself thinking back to her class. I highly recommend this experience—it felt so personal, and I walked away with skills I’ll carry with me every time I cook!

Had a great experience at Jamie's Mediterranean class. She was heavy on educating us on what we were using, why, and always had an alternative we could explore. Healthy amount of challenge to try flavors we were previously adverse to. And she's extremely entertaining! The lemon olive oil cake was the star of the show.

Review of Cooking Class at Chef Jaime’s Home We had the great pleasure of attending a cooking class in Chef Jaime's clean, cozy, and welcoming apartment, which featured a large kitchen and a beautiful center island with granite countertops—perfect for group cooking. We prepared vegan empanadas, guacamole, and a delicious veggies stew, sauces, etc. all under Chef Jaime's expert guidance and supervision. Chef Jaime’s enthusiasm and energy truly set the tone for a fantastic experience. She was incredibly organized, managing the class smoothly and keeping us on track without ever making it feel rushed. What really stood out was her ability to engage with participants of all experience levels, from beginners to more seasoned cooks, making sure everyone felt included and valued. Her positive, supportive attitude created an environment that was not only instructive but also fun and encouraging. It was clear that she’s passionate about her craft and genuinely cares about ensuring her students have a memorable experience. Best choice I've made has been hiring Chef Jamie as a Private Chef for over 3 years. You can tell she cares about her client's wants and puts her heart into her cooking. Throughout my time working with her, she has been able to adjust my meals to work with different dietary needs and still deliver delicious meals. I've had a great experience working with her and would 100% recommend her to everyone! She's a ray of sunshine, so I can just imagine how fun and insightful her cooking classes are.

Jamie is very responsive to all questions regarding her food service. She is also very friendly, reliable and knowledgeable. I received personal meal-prepped meals from Jaime and she was always prompt in her delivery and offering her expertise in foods that will help you in any direction you want to go (I.e. lose weight, tone body, etc.). I wish I could give 10 stars.
