The Caribbean Islands are home to a diverse array of ingredients and recipes. Learn how to make four of them in this hands-on cooking class with Chef Maria.
She'll guide you in making sweet and spicy jerk jumbo shrimp served with tropical fruit, habaneros and peppers, and a coconut yellow curry that you'll enjoy with Cuban-style rice pilaf and yeast-free roti bread inspired by Trinidad and Tobago. For dessert, prepare crispy plantain fritters with warm spices like cinnamon and nutmeg, and served with creamy homemade soft serve.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
