Discover how easy it is to make handmade pasta — and other Italian classics — without any fancy equipment.
In this hands-on class with Chef Donal, you will learn how to prepare a classic four-course Italian menu featuring from-scratch pastas made using easy-to-master techniques and ingredients that you are likely to already have in your pantry.
Chef Donal will teach you how to handcraft two simple pasta doughs and sauces “alla minute” that are very traditional and unlike anything you can buy in stores — or find in most Vancouver restaurants. You will also learn how to create the ultimate Caesar salad and an Amalfi lemon zabaglione with hazelnut meringue cookies.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Donal has an beautiful Kitchen space and his cooking skills are exceptional. My time spent with him was great! He made several dishes that I will never forget how good they were. He was so much fun to talk to and learn a bunch of new cooking skills! Excellent!!!
Meet your chef
Chef Donal is an accomplished chef with more than 10 years of culinary experience. One of his greatest professional achievements to date is running the kitchen at Cin Cin Brighton in the United Kingdom, which was named a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant within his first year on the job. Since then, Chef Donal has spent his time cooking, consulting, and designing for establishments across the world, including in Dublin and San Francisco.
