Chef Catherine will take you far beyond Paris with these rustic French favorites.

The essence of French cooking comes from the countryside, not the city. Rustic French cooking is built on using simple, fresh ingredients to achieve amazing flavors.

Begin your culinary journey with a tomato tart, a layer of thinly sliced tomatoes with basil, garlic and olive oil in puff pastry. Then, Chef Catherine will teach you how to make chicken al a Basquaise braised in oil with onions and garlic served over homemade linguine. Once you've made fresh pasta, you will never go back! Finish this down-to-Earth meal with a classic apple tart à l'alsacienne.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

We enjoyed Chef Catherine night. We took the Mediterranean menu and it was healthy and tasty. Overall was a great experience and we learned a few tips in the process.

Chef Catherine uses her French heritage and finesse to create a light but filling menu. She said during her class that her sons only eat her cooking, and I can see why. I'd like to have her as my mom cooking for me all the time as well.
